Miracle Manor

In 2016, Miracles for Kids completed renovations on a multi-unit apartment building one mile from CHOC Children’s Hospital, named Miracle Manor, which offers subsidized housing to families with children battling chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

Lifescapes was one of the many generous partners who donated their time and efforts; designing the overall garden space to be welcoming and relaxing, while providing a place for residents to feel at home. They created several play areas, with plenty of shade and vibrant, lush colors in the plants and pots to bring it all to life.

“We designed the gardens and outdoor play area for Miracle Manor as a sanctuary, giving these brave families a beautiful and inspirational environment to enjoy,” said Julie Brinkerhoff-Jacobs, President of Lifescapes International. “As an Orange County-based firm with a deep connection to the local community, this is a project that is close to our hearts, and we are proud to be a part of the Miracle Manor team.”
