POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for preparing high-quality construction documents, technical drawings, site plans, and presentation graphics for a variety of landscape architecture, planning, and land development projects. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical drafting skills, a thorough understanding of construction documentation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with landscape architects, project managers, and consultants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and maintain Landscape Architecture construction documents using AutoCAD and other design software such as Lumion and SketchUp
• Develop detailed site plans, grading plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts and construction details with the guidance of project team members
• Assist project teams with drawing production throughout all phases of design and construction
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards, codes, and company quality-control procedures
• Organize and manage CAD files, project templates, libraries, and drafting standards
• Perform revisions and updates based on project reviews and client feedback
• Assist with cost estimates and project documentation as needed
• Maintain project schedules and meet established deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• AutoCAD: 2 years’ experience or AA degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience working in an architectural or landscape design office is preferred, but not required.
