A graduate of Cal Poly in 1952 and recipient of the Fellows Designation from the American Society of Landscape Architects, Don’s career spanned 69 years, bringing years of study (including urban planning studies at the University of Madrid), work experience and worldwide travel to our firm. His mentorship of a new generation solidifies Lifescapes International as a leader in the design of hotels, destination resorts, casinos, urban entertainment venues, private estates, mixed-use developments, and master-planned communities worldwide.

A team member for over four decades, Dan oversees the coordination and management of the firm’s day-to-day operations. He is responsible for proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and managing workflow to ensure schedules are effectively met. He prides himself on bringing to the table people with unique ideas and passion for their work so the team has the right chemistry for each unique, complex project.

He regularly interfaces with senior management and develops and implements strategies, procedures and business planning needed to enhance company growth. He sets performance goals and ensures the team meets those standards. Lifescapes has a meaningful and long-standing corporate culture of excellence and Dan instills that vision in his team.

Dan is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and a licensed Landscape Architect.

A team member for 45 years, Roger leads the horticulture and field services team and oversees the planting design and artistic direction on all projects. Monitoring project progress throughout construction ensures that the original design intent is achieved.

His expertise lies in the meticulous selection of softscape materials, careful consideration of climate factors, astute understanding of growth patterns, plant and tree seasonality, and a keen focus on long-term viability. Constantly on the lookout for innovative ways to set Lifescapes apart in the market, his ultimate objective is to ensure that projects exude lushness from their opening day and remain effortlessly maintainable for the long term.

Roger is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and a licensed Landscape Architect.

A team member for 35 years, Andrew, "Andy," guides the firm’s corporate and creative direction. While working with the design team, he also leads the concept development on a variety of projects domestically and overseas, carrying this through all phases of detail and installation.

His in-depth knowledge and design skills, colored by his extensive worldwide travel, make him a valuable leader for the firm. Andrew’s special abilities include art direction, graphic presentation, model development, and crafting the script for each project’s experiential “story.”

Andrew graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in landscape architecture.
