POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Job Captain serves as a key project team member responsible for coordinating and producing construction documents, managing project tasks, and supporting project managers and designers through all phases of design and project delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to lead project production efforts while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the preparation and coordination of landscape architecture construction documents
• Develop design drawings, site plans, grading plans and project details
• Coordinate project documentation with project managers, consultants, and clients
• Ensure project deliverables meet firm quality standards and deadlines
• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, planners, and other consultants
• Support construction administration activities and on site art direction, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, and punch lists
• Participate in project meetings and client presentations
• Understand the value of time management and cadence of real world projects

EDUCATION:

Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years’ experience
• The candidate should have a strong knowledge of AutoCAD. Knowledge of SketchUp and Autodesk Revit are a plus
